why you should vote on May 2

If you are a Canadian living in Canada or abroad, don't forget to vote on may 2. You may not find a party you align with 100 percent, but you will find a party that represents you and your values in part. Celebrate your right to democracy post voting with some vegan ice cream!

I'm not sure how closely you follow Canadian politics. I'm not as up-to-date as I used to be, but I have been catching up with a bit of what has been going on since the 2006 election. And, yikes. In celebration of warmer weather, here's a recipe for a delicious banana chocolate almond breakfast milkshake.

1 banana, frozen (make sure the banana is super ripe before freezing or your milkshake won't be sweet enough; PC brand organic bananas are pretty affordable, and you can normally get the really ripe ones fo…
